How far is the sea?
About a 15-minute walk from the cottages to the nearest cliff swimming spots and to Skalhamn harbour. We're happy to share our favourite swimming spots. Just ask when you book.

When is the best time to rent a cottage in Bohuslän?
June to August is high season with the best swimming weather. May and September are our favourites: pleasant weather, lower prices and much quieter. Autumn brings the lobster season and dramatic landscapes.
How far in advance should we book?
Summer (June to August) often books out 4–6 months ahead. For the rest of the year, 2–4 weeks is usually enough. Get in touch with specific dates.
