Why a cottage instead of a hotel?
After a long shift, it helps to have a kitchen, a washing machine for workwear and parking by the house. Both properties are detached, giving the crew its own space and room for different shift patterns. When colleagues share a house, the cost per person can also be lower than separate hotel rooms.
Two cottages in Lyse
Torpet is a renovated 1860s cottage of about 60 m² for 1–4 people. Småbåtslaboratoriet is a larger villa for up to 10, with three bedrooms, extra sleeping areas, one bathroom and a separate WC. Both cottages have kitchens, WiFi, washing machines and parking by the house.

Staying for seven nights or longer? Send the start and end dates, headcount, number of vehicles and any needs such as linen or extra cleaning. We will reply with availability, the total price, what is included and the applicable terms. Stays of 1–4 weeks are common; we assess longer arrangements case by case.
Quotes and payment for company bookings
Once we have the dates and requirements, we can send a tailored Hospitable booking link for secure card payment through Stripe. If your company needs an invoice, mention it in the enquiry. We will confirm the seller details, VAT treatment and payment terms before the booking is completed.

How far is it from Lyse to VAROPreem Lysekil?
The drive from our cottages in Lyse to the refinery at Brofjorden takes at most five minutes.
Can the company receive an invoice?
Yes, by prior agreement. The invoice is issued by the VAT-registered seller of the accommodation, not by the booking platform. Send the company's legal name, registration number, billing address and reference. We will confirm VAT and payment terms in the quote.
Can the whole crew stay together?
Yes. Småbåtslaboratoriet sleeps up to 10 across three bedrooms and extra sleeping areas, with one bathroom and a separate WC. Torpet works for 1–4 people.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, both cottages have a washing machine. Please bring your own detergent.
How early should we book?
Accommodation fills quickly around major turnarounds. Contact us as soon as the dates and approximate headcount are known, and we will check both cottages.
Is smoking or pets allowed?
The houses are smoke-free. Pets are not allowed at either cabin.
